Tal Ben Artzi

Bachelor Student

3rd-year dual B.Sc. Biomedical engineering and B.Sc. Biology student at Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University.

I chose Ben’s lab because it perfectly combines the two fields I’m most passionate about: neuroscience and engineeringץ
I was drawn to the lab’s interdisciplinary nature, innovative methods, and focus on solving real-world challenges in science and medicine.

My project will focus on odor biosensor – a robot that can smell and trace the source of a smell

At this stage, I’m still exploring my interests and keeping an open mind about future directions. I see this project as an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, broaden my perspective, and better understand which fields I’m most passionate about—whether in research, technology, or applied healthcare.

One of my main hobbies is sports. Physical activity helps me stay focused, energetic, and balanced. Whether it’s running, training at the gym, or playing team sports, it’s an important part of my daily routine.
