Keshet Tadmor
Doctoral Student
Currently, I'm a Ph.D. student under the duel guidenship of Dr. Ben Maoz and Prof. Miguel Weil. I work on developing advanced stem cell based models for the study of Familial Dysautonomia, focusing on drug development and developmental processes.
I chose to join this lab mainly because of the possibility to explore a better alternative to animal testing in the medical industry, in doing so reduce their suffering and improving the process of pharmaceutical approval.
My work focuses on exploring developmental processes in Familial Dysautonomia using stem cell technologies. Specifically, patient specific iPSC derived sympathetic neuros and cortical organoids.
My goal is to one day open my own lab that will focuses on developmental biology
